Passionate fruit

             Have you ever been passionate about something but for some reason you just stop caring? Just like when you were little you were so excited to be a police officer when you grew up but then one day for some reason you decided it was no longer important to you. Sure with being a police officer maybe you just realized that maybe it wasn't a practical idea for a job in life, but that happens with other things too. Some things you are passionate about is something like fossils. You sit and go through all the rocks you can find to see if any of them have those amazing little once alive creatures. Who knows why but just something can be so fascinating and you just want to continue on with it forever. But yet again you stop caring. Maybe its a sort of thing with you feeling like its dumb because others make it seem that way.
               Throughout life it really seems just like a coming and going of great things that no longer are. For me my goals in life when I was little was to be an artist, play the trumpet, and find EVERY fossil, every single one. I out grew the idea of an artist, people said well its unrealistic, so I forgot about it. The fossils were exciting but then I dropped that for some reason. After dropping the rocks I decided cakes were my passion and I even took classes and such. And the trumpet? I actually stuck with that one and have been playing for 7 years now and its great. Almost all those things I just stopped caring about which is weird. You would think no matter how young you would continue on with the things you find amazing in life.
                After a huge gap of not knowing what to do with life after I dropped the artist, I finally figured it out. A teacher. It seems so great and now I'm pretty passionate about everything teaching, even down to the school and the minors.
                I feel like even though we go through so many different things in life once we find something that we really care about it will all work out really well. Just forget about the things you used to love and keep going on because if you don't you'll just end up sitting around doing nothing. If you don't figure out a job you are passionate about you'll just end up a boring old pencil pusher. Just be passionate about something even if its just something like passion fruit, who cares?

Customer wins

           Now I know the customer is always right. I am sure that some of the time they are. At the same time though they really aren't. I am really sorry but customers are idiots. They yell at you because the food isnt right which really isnt you fault at all but as a waitress you have got to take it ALL for the team which is annoying. Or there is the customers  who get a pizza like this one lets just say its a supreme. So they order ~~~~ oh ill have a large pan supreme pizza~~~ Oh ok that is easy just a normal supreme nothing exciting at all. So you send the order back to the kitchen and what not and sit around and wait for it to be done. Now since they were the only people in the restaurant all of the other waitresses know what they got. The one out cleaning a table even heard them order. But it shouldn't really matter anyways. About 15 minutes go by, you already got them their drinks and what not and now finally there is something to do, take them the pizza. It looks great just amazing because well the cooks had nothing to do so they took their time on it and everything even. So you grab your handy dandy spatula and head for the customers table. Getting there you smile and say Ive got your pizza here for you is there anything else you need?
 ~~~~WELLLL ACTUALLY YEAH this pizza is wrong~~
         Well how on earth could it be wrong you repeated their order and everything everyone even heard them order and they know that it was just a normal supreme large pan pizza.
~~~It wasnt supposed to have black olives but there is some on here and we just hate those and we had asked you to make sure it didnt have black olives on it.~~~~
          Well  great just fucking great because now you have to confiscate their pizza AND remake it AND give them some money back not to mention the fact that they probably wont tip you anything. The best solution is just to fix it. Dont argue because well the customer is always right. When you do argue it can actually get really bad, with people even cussing at you which is ridiculous. DO NOT FIGHT YOUR WAITRESS OVER A PIZZA honestly it is super uncalled for and really disrespectful. Personally I have about had it with idiots who decide that everything they say is right even when you tell them their order back when they order TO MAKE SURE ITS RIGHT like 7 times and then you still say its wrong. There is no need, We are just trying to get you food im sorry if it was my fault or yours or the cooks but please dont make a scene at a restaurant because its embarrassing not only for the business but for you. Just dont blow up over spilled milk

Bright eyes

           Now driving a half hour away just to see a movie was kind of dumb, but at the same time it was worth it getting to hang out with friends and what not. Although the downside to it was that the movie started at 7:45pm and was 2 and a half hours long. So getting out at 10:30 was already annoying not to mention the fact that it was freezing and super dark. Still it was all worth it.
           After driving back and dropping people off you start to head home. Its about 11:30 at night now and well there is no one on the roads at all. Getting onto the highway, again no ones around. You get up to speed at out of no where there is those gleaming bright yellow eyes. Its actually quite terrifying. You wouldn't really think much of it but the fact that you are going 55 mph makes it a whole lot more terrifying. Also the fact that the body thats holding those bright eyes is bigger than you. So what do you do. Everything is going through your mind. ~do i slam on the brakes??? what if it stops?? should i swerve???? but if i swerve is there another car there and what if its slippery and what if i go in the ditch what to i do???~
           Well, for me the other night I didnt know what to do and thought that the best option to avoid the massive deer was to just swerve and hope no one was there but going at 55 mph you kind of lose control when you swerve and you end up going back in forth to you get control again. Luckily I didnt hit the deer. Luckily I didnt hit a car. Luckily I didnt go in a ditch. It was absolutely terrifying. I really dont recommend trying to drive at 11:30 at night on the highway because its really scary when you cant see and something just basically appears, just absolutely terrifying.
           Now that was basically the deer that was in front of me so maybe it really wasnt all that massive but still, in the moment it seemed like a giant. Just either I needed to be more aware or maybe it did just kind of appear out of nowhere I have no idea. It all happened really fast. Luckily there wasnt a whole heard of them behind it, who knows what would have happened then.
           Basically I'm saying I am now terrified of deer and everyone should be because they are terrifying creatures and you should never go near them. ALSO maybe just be more careful than me or go slower on the highway at night or something because no one should have to be terrified of something that really does no harm, it just tried to cross the road and such. Please dont die or go off road in a snowy ditch and what not. That would be quite awful.

Every wish your heart desires will come true

             Recently I was able to go to Disney World which was pretty awesome, except not being 8 years old anymore there isn't a whole lot of things I grew up with there anymore. Sure there are all the princesses like Cinderella, Snow White, and Belle, but when I was younger those were just movies that you watched once and a while. Now there are shows on Disney like Sofia the First, that bring all the princesses in a lot more often. So when you go to Disney and get to see something, or someone, that you used to love, or even still do, its pretty amazing.
             I got the chance to meet some of my favorite characters. Who thought they would still have the Hundred Acre Woods in town? I got to meet not only Winnie the Pooh, but Tigger too. Even though every one of the characters is just someone getting to play the part, its still pretty amazing to meet them all.
            There are so many characters to meet everywhere you go at Disney. There is the 13 princesses, Jasmine, Belle, Rapunzel, Arura, Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel, Tiana, Elsa, Anna, Merida, Mulan, and Pocahontas, and you can meet them all. Its not even just the princesses, just so many characters to meet just usually not too much time to see it all. It honestly is a place that I would say the dreams do come true. Its not everyday that you get to eat breakfast in 'Hollywood' with some princesses and pirates. When going through Epcot to meet characters you even get to sort of go through different countries where they are all from. You can even experience a few food from each of the countries. I got to travel to France and eat a chocolate crepe. Not only do you get to experience all of that but you also get to meet some people who are actually from that country. Disney hires people from all over the world to work for them and its amazing the people you meet, even just people visiting.
             So whether the characters you meet are Disney princesses or if they are just someone visiting or someone just helping out, they are all just so friendly. No one can get tired of being called princess everyday. No one can have a bad time in the magical place where dreams come true.

Coloring

              I would say that a lot of people believe that flamingos are pink because well, they just are. Actually there is a lot more to that. As you can see not all flamingos are pink. The reason that almost all flamingos are pink is because of their diets When you think about it a lot of animals aren't all the same color, just like how not all roses are red. Now with almost any animal you can change their color just based off of what they eat. Flamingos get their bright colors from the blue-green algae and the shrimp that they eat. The algae has carotenoids (groups of pigments often found in plants) that effect the color of the birds feathers, this make complete sense when you think of all of the pink flowers in nature, its all the same type of pigments.
               Most animals get their colors from the foods that they eat. Animals really don't have a use for photosynthesis, so they don't have any carotenoids either. The carotenoids are taken in and processed through the animals liver to change and spit out different colors to effect the animals appearance completely.
               This is actually a pretty cool thing in nature when you think about it. Almost anything can change color just based on its diet and the different carotenoids it consumes. Maybe we could have all different colors of flamingos instead of just pink, perhaps blue, green, maybe even purple. Any color all depends on the carotenoids going through the body.
                Since carotenoids are pigments found in all sorts of plants, it really shows all of the different carotenoids there are. Just think of all the different naturally occurring colors there are. There are flowers of all shades, blue, pink, red, white, yellow, purple, and orange. All different colors that can determine the color of something else, just by consumption. Science really works in wondrous ways when you think about it, just a tiny switch and something can be unlike its norm. Any little change in something can change a whole think to be almost unrecognizable as what it actually is. Would you really recognize a brown flamingo if there wasn't any others around it?
                 Next time you see a flamingo or any other colorful animal, just think of how differently they could look, just from a few changes. Maybe we will see blue flamingos someday, honestly a pink flamingo is good enough but anything goes right?

Museum worthy I swear

I am sure at some point in time we have all felt like great artists. We did everything the best of the best and no way we could do worse. Then one day, after putting down our pencils and brushes for a long while, we pick them back up. You say you just really want to do something, create something amazing. Sometimes you even go out and buy brand new supplies because it has to be perfect.
So you get home, new charcoal pencils in hand. You get out some brand new, clean white paper, and you sit for like 7 hours just trying to figure what the hell you should draw. Looking at all sorts of websites to get some sort of idea because you really need something great, something to make up for the lost time not doing any sort of art. Finally after the hours of searching for an idea, not even an exaggeration this is after at least 2 hours, you find the idea. A majestic ferocious beast. Something so great that it would come to life at every full moon, kinda.
A wolf, not exactly a werewolf but same difference I suppose. For me I started this masterpiece about 2 hours before I actually figured out what to draw. I sketched it all out, started darkening the lines. Eraser marks everywhere, making every line the exact way it needed to be. Shading in some areas, making some lighter, others a little darker. Finally, finished, all finished at last. It really only took like a total of 4 hours no more but still finally finished. Its a piece of shit. Really it is. All that work for a piece of crap but you might as well make the most of it right? Maybe just make it look even more and more interesting. Add some speech bubbles here, add one little splash of color there. Maybe even draw in a little bit extra to give it more pzazz.
Finally. After all this work. After all the rework. You have a great masterpiece of somewhat beauty and somewhat sarcasm. It all works though. After all it is art right? I always say if you can see it it must be art. Have you seen some of the things in museum? They look like a five year old drew it at free time during their regular kindergarten day. How on earth can some scribbles be worth a few million and your beautiful shit masterpiece only a few cents? As long as you see it as something of true beauty in the end rather than just crumbling it up and throwing it away it will always be worth it in the end.  Someone in the word will appreciate your art, even if its only you, its still someone. So there you go, after all the work a piece of shit came to view but its just as great as you imagined, just a different sort of concept.

Good read

                    If you have ever read a good book, it is hard to put it down. It is hard to ever think that something could be just as good or even better. The words just wrap around you in a kind of warm blanket sort of way. A good book keeps you interested, keeps you reading for hours, hearing the people go on and on about the issue at stake. You become someone in their little world that they know. You learn to see how each place looks, how each person looks, even know their personality. Be a part of every little adventure they go on, follow every trail. Then you hear that your favorite book is going to be made into a play, a musical, a movie. It is honestly really exciting but at the same time you have so many questions. Who is going to be the lead role? When is it coming out? Will they actually follow the book? What if they leave out a huge part? It can be stressful all up until the movie finally comes out. Everything you had been waiting for. You know the people in the movie, you’ve seen the trailers, but now you get to see if it is going to live up to the book. The theater is always packed the first week the movie comes out. Everyone has been waiting just like you, they have to see what they have been waiting for. The movie either ends up being a huge flop or a great success. Sometimes the movie gets completely off on a tangent of something that either wasn’t in the book or it just skipped over a lot of important little details. Or maybe it even just didn’t include some of the characters, it ignored some of the characters little quirks, either way it is not what you wanted at all with the movie. The movie ended up being the biggest mistake, either there should have been a different director or it just should have never been maybe into a movie at all. On the other hand sometimes it ends up a big success. It had every character, every little quirk and detail. They even got the colors exactly how you imagined it. Nothing could even top the movie, except for one thing. The great warm words that spoke to you first, in the book.
